PRICE PARRY CHARITABLE TRUST DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

The Price Parry Charitable Trust recognises the importance of personal information provided to us. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, process and store your personal data. In the context of this Notice “we” and “us” is any Trustee or Administrator who is working on behalf of The Price Parry Charitable Trust.

How will my personal data be collected and used?

When you apply for a grant we require information about the organisation to whom any grant will be paid. The information you provide constitutes personal data under GDPR and in submitting a grant application you provide consent for us to hold and use that personal data.

  1. from information you provide to us when you interact with us before becoming a grantee, for example when you contact us to request a grant.

  2. when you ask us to provide a grant to you and subsequently provide us with the necessary information;

  3. from third parties, for example, when we carry out our routine checks on you before we consider your application for funding

  4. where you provide us with personal data relating to others, we trust that you either have their consent or are entitled to provide this information to us for subsequent use.

How we use your personal data?

  1. we process your personal data in order to fulfil our obligation to you in considering your application properly. “Processing” your personal data includes but is not limited to obtaining, recording and holding information or data about you;

  2. it may be necessary for us or a third party to process your personal data as part of “legitimate interests”.

  3. we do not circulate marketing information.

Our “legitimate interests” include our commercial interests and activities, including planning and transactional reporting. Such activities are all in compliance with legal, regulatory and other governance requirements and we will keep such personal data for as long as it remains necessary for those activities or requirements.

Who will personal data be shared with?

As well as making your information available for the aforementioned purposes, it will be shared with third parties providing relevant services to us. Certain personal data may become reportable to statutory authorities where required by law, for tax and other regulatory purposes.

We will never trade your personal data.

How do we keep your personal data safe?

We take looking after your data and information very seriously. We have implemented appropriate physical, technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data and any information you send to us.

We recognise that the transmission of information using the internet, including email, is not completely secure and unfortunately cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted in this way.

How long do we hold your personal data for?

It is held only for as long as necessary for us to fulfil organisational requirements related to the purpose for which it was provided to us and to meet with statutory obligations.

Your Rights

You have a number of rights to access the personal data we hold about you and can request, where necessary:

  1. that we correct the personal data we hold about you, if it is incorrect;

  2. that we erase your personal data where we have no lawful basis for holding it;

  3. that we restrict our data processing activities, including the withdrawal of your consent;

  4. to receive from us the personal data we hold about you, which you provided to us, in a portable format, including to send the information to a third party;

  5. that we comply with your objection, relating to your particular situation, to any of our processing activities.
